Here are Yesterday's Creations:

One of my First Cards in Years!! I think it's seriously been a good 6 or 7 years since I have really crafted! So thank you to Erica @ www.mycricutcraftroom.blogspot.com for her inspiration! 

 Used The Playtime Cartridge as well as George & Basic Shapes

As in many of my creations, I have no idea where the paper is from because part of my crafting green is using recycled paper. My Friend Jennifer @ http://jshandcrafts.blogspot.com gave me the coin paper (and lots of other fun paper you will be seeing & more)!! Thanks Jennifer!

This is my Second Creation Yesterday: 
Another Card:

The black Card I used was from a box of donated things someone didn't want.
The Embellishment was from a pack on clearance for $.25 at Pat Catans.

I used my Stamp (Which I got on Clearance at Big Lots)
& Then Colored it with Water Color Pencils I found in the Basement

I needed something to blot it with, and since I'm so creative (hehe) I found a piece
of fluffy stuff on the floor that came out of one of the kids toys that the puppy had chewed up!

This is after the Water Color Pencils & Smudging with Fluff!

Awesome Find!

Today I had a wonderful find from Craigslist. 

I bought all of this for $150!!! Cricut Expression, Carrying Case, Accessories, 12x12 Mat, (2) 12x24 Mats, 11 cartridges, and two pads of 12x24 Paper! Woo hoo!! This is my First Cricut Machine, believe it or not! I figured I needed one to keep up with everyone! It may not be the most techy one out there, but that doesn't bother me! Plus, this finds keeps in line with my whole going green challenge I have for myself! I'm trying to not buy anything brand new, only using used supplies or donated supplies. If I have to buy something new, it has to be from Thrift Store b/c that means it's being re-purposed. I'm all about crafting Green! Anyway, Just wanted to Share my find with all of you, I'm so excited!! 

 This is my First Little Project with my New Machine & Cartridges! 

WOO HOO.....I should say OINK OINK!!

I have low energy light in every light fitting Had the shower fitted with water timers and toilets have been renewed so it has two flushes low or full. Recycle all paper card glass clothing to all the relevant banks. I also make recyclable cards out of old cards and send to charities and worthy causes. All clothes go to charity shops.

Basement Craft Area!

I'm so excited to be working on my first ever Crafty Space! It's going to be a process, but the end result will be great! We moved to Louisville, Ohio in January and I'm still unpacking boxes and going through everything that has been thrown downstairs!! I'll keep posting updates! I can't wait to share the finished product and have my own area to craft! I've been waiting for 5 years and NOW is the time!! 

 Believe it or not, this is after going through ten boxes and boxing & bagging up 5 containers to go to Salvation Army! 

Then, while I was downstairs working, I hear the kids singing about being pretty. I thought, Uh Oh, This can't be good! So I came up and this is what I found. I asked them, were you crafting without mom, NO they said. I told them to go look in the mirror, lol! Oh the Joys of being a SAHM!!

So Now, I'm on my way to clean up the bubbles & water I found all over the bathroom floor! Then I will be heading back down to work some more! Oh goodness, still need to do dinner! Good Thing I can cook quickly!!

Do You Read the Labels?

Here's Some "GREEN" Thinking for you:

Have you actually ever read the labels on the back of your cleaning and personal care products?? If you haven’t, you may want to hurry up and go look at them. If you have, you may have been seriously shocked! I was!

Many of the cleaning and personal care products we buy off the shelves at the stores are loaded with chemicals and toxins in them. Commonly, we believe that the government would never allow such terrible products to be on the shelves, but the truth is, they allow it! Not only do they allow it, they aren’t stopping it.

Did you ever sit back and ask yourself why we have amazing medical technology and so many amazing doctors, yet so many people have cancer, asthma, and other diseases and serious health concerns? Do you think it’s in what we put on our bodies and around our families? I DO!! Let me share with you some of the effects that these products have on people!

Remember: The labels on products only have to warn of the acute (immediate) harms from ingesting a product, breathing the fumes, or contact with the eyes and skin. They don't reveal the harms presented by chronic (long-term) exposure to the chemicals in these products.

And the Crafting Continues

My kiddos had so much fun crafting with friends yesterday, they decided to continue crafting today! They make me laugh and once again my white carpet needs some love, oh well! At least they are having a BLAST! Plus we got a new puppy yesterday! His name is Manny. He looks fabulous with glitter! 

 I told Jimmy to Smile, and he said "No Mom, I'm Busy" My little Crafter is really getting into it!

The New Puppy!

Father's Day Card Playdate!!

Yesterday, our Mom's Group had a Father's Day Crafting Session & we made Cards!! Super fun! The kids had a blast! Most of them are toddlers! All I have to say is Glitter & White Carpet is super fun! hehe! Oh well, we use Awesome SAFE ECO-Friendly Cleaning Products So I'm totally Not Worried!
