I had to re-color my image a few times b/c every time I wasn't looking, my 3 yr old son, Jimmy, would help and color the water for me. As lovely as his coloring (Scribbling) is, I really thought I should color it myself, hehe!

Purplefuntastick Altered Notebook

Last week we created Flowers, and this week, we were to create an altered  notebook to put our flowers on. Great Idea, however, mine flower was very large, so I got inspired by my flower to alter the notebook like I did. The colors didn't come out perfectly in the picture, but the background of the notebook is Navy Blue to match the navy in the flower.

TALENTED FRIENDS OF CRAFTY AND GREEN GUEST DESIGNER DAY. 

Week # 8

Hello Friends! Welcome to another talent filled Guest Designer Thursday here at Crafty & Green!! I'm really enjoying the diversity of projects from my guest Designers. Just so you know, the Guest Designers will follow the Theme of the month and have the option to use the sketch or create something completely unique! 

 

This Month the theme for my guest designers is Friendship & Laughing! I'm So Excited to Introduce for the second time, a  Talented Friend and Guest Designer:

Today I have the honor of being guest designer for my friend Tina aka Crafty and Green. Today I decided to try a different type of project using this sketch:



I decided to make a Creative Memories Photo Panel with my Storybook Creator Software. Photo Panels also make wonderful gifts for any special occasion. You can easily choose from either of our two beautiful alternatives, a Photo Panel or a Metal Photo Panel. After you’ve created your Photo Panel and are ready to check out, it’s as simple as clicking a button and choosing which type of photo panel you want it printed on. (Note: with the Metal Photo Panels, any white color in your design will appear metallic.)

Use your favorite photos, drag and drop templates or Page Prints as an easy way to dress up any room in your home! Let your photo panel speak for itself year-round by creating it online here in our Digital Center, or customizing it when you use our StoryBook Creator Plus Software.

Kari's Purplies Flower Challenge

It's a Flower Challenge!

Here is what I created! I tried something new, and it was VERY Easy!!

 

You all know I LOVE To  

$$CRAFT GREEN, TO SAVE GREEN$$

So I chose to use some 80's Wrapping paper my Grandmother in law gave me when cleaning out her attic last year. 

Recipe:

* Took the Giant Sheet (that's what the package said) All Occasion Wrapping paper out of package

*Unfold Once

* Cut two 12x4 Strips (Still folded from pre-packing, causes for more layers)

*Stack them on top of each other

*Accordion fold from one side of the 4" side to the Other

*Wrap a piece of wire around the middle

*Open the flower by gently pulling up one layer of paper at a time toward the center

 * Spray with Tattered Angel Glimmer Mist 

*Add embellishments in middle of Flower

EASY PEASY!
