Surprise 100 Cartridge Blog Hop
Congratulations Erica & Mike!! I’m actually Celebrating with Erica Right now! Yes, I’m a very lucky girl to be such good Friends with her!
Welcome, Glad you’ve made it this far! This is my VERY FIRST BLOG HOP EVER! Hope You Enjoy Your Visit! You should have Hippity Hopped on over from TERRY’S!! If you have just happened upon my blog, please start at the Beginning of this fantastically Exciting Blog Hop with Erica's blog http://mycricutcraftroom.blogspot.com
If you have Never visited my Blog Before, Welcome!! Just a Quick Note, this New Blogging/crafting adventure started about 3 weeks ago for me. The challenge I have given myself, is to only use crafting material that I get donated to me, have had from the past, something I reuse or recycle, or something I buy used or on a super duper clearance. I'm not buying anything brand new!!
Make Sure you check back for Going Green Tips!
The Theme of this blog hop was very fitting for me since my hubby, Eric, and I just celebrated our 5th Wedding Anniversary June 17th. Here are a few Pictures of our Wedding Day!
My Grandma did all my flowers! |
One of My Favorite's from My Parent's Back Yard |
At my Parents Before The Wedding |
NOW ONTO MY PROJECTS:
I couldn't decide exactly what to do for this Blog Hop, so I did 3 smaller projects.
This first Layout I did b/c I love Music, I love Weddings & I love Purple!
Cartridges: Wrap It Up, George and Basic Shapes & Home Decor
Paper: Background Brown & Bride Hair-Used Cardboard from Back of a paper Pack
The music Note Paper was something I had from my scrapping days 7 years ago, no idea where it came from, I'm sure it was nothing expensive! And the Purple came from my friend Jennifer.
This Second Project I did was Because I love this picture of my hubby & I on our Wedding Day! I love that you can see Jesus in the Center!!!
The Cartridge: George and Basic Shapes
Stamps: Clearance from Big Lots, don't even know the brand name
Paper: Donated Card Stock that I tore
Also used Water Color Pencils on the stamps that I found in the basement from years ago
The Pretty Stringy Stuff is Darice Finishing Accents that I bought 7 years ago
The ink is Stazon
I really Enjoyed this one the best b/c it's focused on my hubby & I more, and I don't have a handmade scrapbook of our wedding day yet!! This will be the beginning!
This third project is a card for Erica on her Wedding Day.
The card I got donated to me years ago.
The Embellishments are Jolee's by You 3-d Embellishments (Bought 5 years ago)
Pencils: Water Color Pencils
And the Stamp is borrowed from my Friend Jennifer
The Ink is StazOn
After I stamped the Wedding Bells on, and colored them in with Water Color Pencils, I smudged them with a paper towel for something a little different.
