Happy Sunday!
This Month I have the Wonderful Opportunity to be the Guest Designer over at Stampin' Sisters in Christ
CHALLENGE: Make
a card that to you represents peace or calm; with an image, color
scheme, CAS layout or verse, something that speaks peace to you, but
peace symbols themselves are excluded. The card has to speak peace
through your own
style.
SCRIPTURE: These things I have spoken to you, so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome the world.” John 16:33 (NASB)
SPONSOR: Daydream Designs
There are many Things that give me peace, but one of the main things in this season, is the beautiful scenery here in Ohio. I love driving on the country roads and seeing God's beautiful Fall Trees and skyline. It makes me just smile! Every day lately, while I'm walking back up our long driveway from standing at the bus stop with our 5 year old daughter Lizzy, I stop and just thank God for everything he has given us! We are TRULY Blessed!!
Here is the Card I designed. It's quite simple for me! But I really wanted to try to keep it simple, because I feel like simple is more peaceful, at least right now in my life, hehe!
The Sentiment I chose to use is from the Sponsors Digital set, God's Bountiful Love.
Please
note: Normally I do NOT know the names of
all the papers or the other materials I use
b/c they are either something I had from years
ago, or it's something that has been given to me.
Until Next Time My Friends,

Many Blessings,

Tina - I would have to agree with you. The changing leaves and crisp air are very peaceful. Our trees are probably a little farther along here in Central NY but still very beautiful. I love your card, it is also very peaceful.

ReplyDeleteHi Tina. Just wanted to pop by and let you know that I tried to email you about my win at QKR Stampede but the link to your email both there and here deosn't work. So if you could email me at ad.colbourne@hotmail.com that would be great. Thanks. Your card is beautiful today by the way. Love that your guest designing at SSIC. I love that sight. Your card really does show peace through the beauty of Autumn weather. It is 18 degrees celicus here today and it feels like late summer. It is sunny and warm, but fall weather really makes me aprreciate summer and look forward to it not being so hot. Lol. Thanks for your inspiration. Hugs.
ReplyDeleteDon't use dot com in my addy but dot ca okay. Thanks Sorry about that.
ReplyDeleteHi, Tina! Your card is beautiful! There truly is something very peaceful about simplicity and about nature. Thanks for being our GD this month at SSiC! I really enjoy your creations! Blessings! ~H
ReplyDeleteHow beautiful Tina. Congrats on your Guest Designer spot. I love your card. joann sassy raggedy
ReplyDeleteAh sweet memories of meeting my children at the school bus too, except we had a very short driveway! I love the Fall leaves and colors you incorporated into the background, what a great reminder that He is in charge of the seasons.
ReplyDeleteHow pretty. I love how you captured the look of fall on your card. I love looking at all the many different hues. God could have given us just red, green, yellow and we probably would have just loved seeing the different colors, but he gave us so many reds, oranges, yellows, greens and colors in between. I hope you have had a blessed week!
