Would You Ever Guess

Happy Middle of the Week!
Welcome to Would You Ever Guess Wednesday! Today I'm sharing a fun project as a Design Team member for My Cricut Craft Room!  Please head back to her page and check out the other fab posts from today for interesting outside-of-the-box ideas for how to use your cartridges!

So I wanted to do a project that I could actually use a lot. I decided to make a Box that sticks to my fridge for all my Christmas Cards we receive. That way when they come in the mail and the hubby or kids open it, they will know to put it in there so I can see it and hang it up! I hate when someone takes the time to send us a card and it gets lost or I don't see it. So here is what I came up with:

It's already on my fridge, so pardon all the other things on my fridge, I just wanted to share it in action!
FRONT

BACK With Magnet

I used the Christmas Cheer Cricut Cartridge. I cut the 8 ornaments (which you can't see them all right here) at 3.5 inches from the circle & shadow function keys. I thought it was so fun!

Here's how I did it:

Yes, that's a Wal-Mart Brand Instant Oatmeal box. I love to re-purpose things

Cutting out the Outside Shadow of the Ornaments

Glued the Ornaments together & covered the box in paper I had from years ago.
(Please note: Normally I do NOT know the names of all the papers or the other materials I use b/c they are either something I had from years ago, or it's something that has been donated to me.
Craft Green to Save Green my friends! Use what you already have!)

Next I Added the Magnet to the back & then all of the ornaments on some green & white fun fibers.

And here is the finished product from the view of my full fridge!

Hope you enjoyed my project! Thanks for joining me on this Would You Ever Guess Wednesday!!
